Bespoke Handcrafted Design

Our bespoke garden rooms are designed and built for year-round use with
fully lined and insulated interiors and double-glazing fitted throughout.

Having a garden professionally designed and landscaped can increase the enjoyment of any garden immeasurably; an innovatively designed and well maintained garden cannot fail to impress. They have even been known to raise the value of a property.

Hutchinsons Landscapes offer a complete design & build package, whereby we combine clients’ ideas & designs with our experience to create a unique outside living area which will be enjoyed for years into the future.

Features

As standard the buildings are finished with an EPDM rubber membrane, but we are often asked to upgrade the cladding of these roof areas to feature felt and cedar shingles.

All of the timbers used in our buildings are pressure treated with a preservative to ensure long life, but we then enhance the exterior finish with a painted finish, which further protects the cladding timbers. As an alternative, we can also upgrade the exterior with a Hardie Board cladding board – a cement-based timber substitute that needs minimal maintenance.

Interiors

The Hutchinsons garden rooms are designed to be extensions of the homes
that we build them around and so are finished to the same high standard.

Rockwall insulation, incorporated into the walls and ceilings, ensure that these premium buildings can be used year-round, whilst the interior faces of these buildings can be finished in a number of finishes ranging from traditional timber tongue & groove boarding, to a fully painted, plaster finish.
For clients wanting a truly maintenance free building, we can fit either UPVC or Aluminium doors and windows – even Bi-Fold doors for those wanting to create an indoor space that can fully open up to the wider garden setting.

CAD Imagery

Our bespoke building designs are individually created to not only provide you with a quality garden room, but to also enhance the aesthetic environment into which it is to be constructed.

By creating images of our unique designs, we can eliminate any unforeseen practical issues relating to the buildings’ setting – not apparent when studying a 2D floor plan

The Hutchinsons team of craftsmen specialise in creating bespoke garden rooms. Each building is individually designed and constructed from the highest quality raw materials in our modern workshop based near Colchester in rural Essex. The timbers used in our buildings are sourced from sustainable woodlands and processed by local merchants before being pressure treated with a clear preservative to ensure long life in the finished building.
