As with all Hutchinsons buildings, we build our utility buildings individually, after agreeing the layout of the doors and windows with our clients.
The higher than usual 6’ eves on all of our buildings allow for generous, clear head space when entering these storage buildings and more storage opportunities against these taller side walls, creating far more versatile and user-friendly buildings than many of the compact designs offered elsewhere on the market.
With versatility foremost in mind, the basic design of our smaller buildings make use of our standard 2” x 2” framework, whilst larger structures utilise larger framing timbers depending upon the structural loadbearing requirements of the end building.
Only The Best Pressure Treated Timber
All of the timbers used in our buildings are pressure treated with a preservative to ensure long life, with opening windows and mortice locks on all doors fitted as standard, they offer good, long-term security for our clients’ tools and equipment.
As standard, our buildings are supplied with a wooden T&G floor, but this can be upgraded with a concrete screed floor if required.
Finally, the roof areas of these storage buildings are clad with EPDM, a one-piece membrane that is guaranteed for 25 years – thereby ensuring long term, maintenance free waterproofing.
