The Hutchinsons range of garden buildings create ideal retreats around the garden in which to rest a while, to admire your garden from a new perspective away from the house.
The diverse range of styles presented on these pages have been developed over many years to enhance any garden setting. The images featured has been selected to stimulate the imagination. As all of our garden buildings are individually hand crafted, any of them can be adapted to suit our customers’ personal needs.
Victorian
Our flagship building’s conical roofline makes these octagonal summerhouses a truly eye-catching garden room that adds majestic beauty to any garden setting. The standard octagonal building features six top hung windows fitted around a matching pair of double doors for open views across the surrounding garden. For customers wanting a simpler roofline, we can build these outstanding buildings with a straight edged, conical roof.
Bentley
We have developed this five sided corner building to create a garden room which will fit neatly into a corner, thereby minimising the space that it takes up in a smaller garden. These buildings are typically fitted with high quality Georgian glazed doors and windows, however, because all of our buildings are individually built to order, these can be exchanged for plane or leaded glazing units.
Haughley
These small octagonal summerhouses feature large windows and fully glazed doors to allow maximum, uninterrupted views over the surrounding garden setting. A pair of opening windows ensures good ventilation to prevent these highly glazed buildings overheating when the doors are left closed. The pitched roof is traditionally finished in felt but is often upgraded to feature felt shingle tiles.
Christchurch
The unique arched rooflines of these stunning garden rooms are a very popular addition to the Hutchinson range. Specialist laminated beams support tongue and groove timbers to create their feature vaulted ceilings. In addition, our wide selection of window and door combinations allows our clients freedom to customise the building to their personal needs
Trinity
The Trinity is a recent introduction to the Hutchinson range and has attracted a great deal of interest wherever it has been shown. The asymmetric roofline, featuring our unique skyline windows, allows natural light to flood into these quality garden rooms. The uninterrupted natural light is much valued by artists and arts & craft enthusiasts who are able to work without casting shadows over their projects.
Aldham
This novel approach to the traditional square sided summerhouse has angled, front side panels with opening windows either side of the main double doors to allow panoramic views. The Aldham has a gently sloping flat roof, a simple style of roof which allows the building to be extended backwards to create a deceptively spacious garden room suitable for any location.

The Hutchinsons summerhouses are all hand built using timber that has been pressure treated in a clear preservative prior to being assembled, thereby guaranteeing a long life in your garden.
Hutchinsons hand build all of our summerhouses to suit each individual client’s need. These options also offer the opportunity to include additional windows for those wanting a more open, panoramic view around the surrounding garden.
Finally a unique feature of many of the Hutchinsons summerhouses is the introduction of an internal divide, creating a rear storage ‘shed’ area within the summerhouse.
